Making Contact

There are a few simple and obvious ways to speak to us at Vertex AQ. The easiest way is probably to use the 'Quick Contact' form which is on the right hand side of every page on the site. Or you can use the trusty telling bone. But please remember that if you call unannounced we may be busy or even away from the office. So bear with us, we'll do our best. If you call and we don't answer, please leave a message and we'll get back to you.

A Discussion With Us

If you contact us we will find the time to have a detailed discussion about our products and the principles of the Vertex approach. We will happily give you general guidance about your system choices and what the Vertex products will do for you. We may of course, refer you to information on this website. 

If our conversation starts to take us deep into the detailed specifics of your system, its setup, the environment and what Vertex will do, and at that point you have not yet had discussions with a Vertex dealer, we are going to suggest that you contact one of them as soon as possible. Remember that we don't sell direct - so we are not going to be doing detailed demos for you, it won't be us sending demo kit for you to try at home and it won't be us that analyses the results with you. That is what our dealers do. So the quicker you engage with one of them, the more effective will be the overall support at this point. The dealer will also send you a copy of the Vertex Systematic Approach book, and this will help enormously. Please see the section 'speaking to our dealers', there is a lot more detail there.

However, it is a simple fact that in a few cases, the issues of unlocking great performance are complex. The interactive nature of systems, particularly in a difficult environment and with different types and ages of technology can take you round in circles, leaving you chasing sound quality problems without getting to the root causes. Now, if you have gone through the initial processes with your dealer, and you have a few Vertex bits at home, but you are not getting all the results you were expecting (as per what your dealer said, what the book says, and what the reviews say), then this is the time to call us.

We have a wealth of knowledge in solving these complex problems. When we meet our dealers and do training we always share experiences regarding complex problems, we share knowledge (both ways) with other industry experts such as magazine editors and reviewers, and even like minded competitors. We also have our own continuous research programme here at Vertex AQ, and we have the 'Measurement Initiative' too with an independent team of 3 scientists (Acuity Products Ltd) working on the case!

With all this backup we can really help you. We will go through with you the process and results you have achieved so far, particularly which bits of Vertex you have used and where. And after a serious bit of digging and thinking on our part we usually come up with the answers. And normally what has happened in each case is that the true root causes, the fundamental limiting factors, have not yet been discovered. Once we have found the likely culprits, we then advise you on what to do next to start to resolve these problems. And believe us, when you do get to the root causes, and cure them, you are going to accelerate away to a new level of musical enjoyment. 

Hi-Fi Shows

Another good way to find out more is to speak to us face to face at shows. When we do a show, we carefully prepare and concentrate on giving explanations in great depth - thats our primary objective, with minimum distraction so that you can clearly hear the products, hear the explanations  and ask questions.
