LeadingEdge update September 2012

The Leadingedge website is now up and running at leadingedge-audio.org

We will leave all the earlier LeadingEdge information here on the Vertex website for a few more months, and then it will be removed as we transfer all the information to the new site. The site already has better information about configuring a complete system, so please take a look.

Early History

Vertex AQ and Kaiser Acoustics have been working on a major new brand, called LeadingEdge. This brand will bring to market a fabulous range of platforms and racks, stands and floor platforms, plus a wide variety of room acoustic treatment panels that can be used either free-standing, or mounted on walls or ceilings.

All the products are made in the Kaiser factory in Bavaria, Germany, by our expert craftsmen. So the quality is outstanding, and the range of finishes is endless! The design is based on the Bauhaus look – clean lines and beautiful finishes, and the technology within is so well hidden away its presence is heard, not seen. Functionality is incredably simple too – tasks like assembly and levelling are very easy.

But performance is also truly impressive. Starting with the Vertex and Kaiser technology, we have combined them, and enhanced them considerably too. The results are massive gains in transparency and musicality in any listening experience.

We had a fairly quiet launch of some of the first production items at the Munich show back in May 2011. And the first full public outing was at the UK National Audio Show, Silverstone, 24/25 Sep 11.
